Dished up for breakfast : coffee, tea, chocolate, bread, cake, varied marmalades and honeys, wild pork smoked ham or sausage, yoghurt, canned cherishes or Mirabel plums, cheese , fresh fruits and fruit juices, all of them authentic home-made products. Just take your choice! Some days, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy new-laid boiled eggs, pan-cakes, ginger-bread, “Pain Perdu”( a French cake made of wasted bread, milk, eggs, sugar …) , stewed fruits a.s.o…. Weather permitting, an outdoor area in the shade, with garden furniture ( couches ) and crossed by a brook, will bring you peace and quiet.

The five rooms
The five rooms, essentially rebuilt with authentic old materials ( beams, building stones – Ashlar- and doors dated 1850, 19th century cement wall-tiles labelled Villeroy & Boch , Utzschneider - Sarreguemines earthenware -) and the well bored in the 13th century , will steep you in unreal atmospheres, appealing for peace, quiet and reverie, in testimony of the early times… Private bathroom and WC in each room. TV set on request
