RECEPTION
The property

‘DOURD’HAL, rightly called ‘the small Vosges’ is a village tucked away in a luxuriant
growth valley. The well timbered hills, running along the village, provide pleasant hiking
trails.
At the beginning, the Mill property that can be found out at the edge of the wood
belonged to the Monastery of Longeville-Lès-Saint-Avold ( postcode 57740 ) on a site called
“Landgraben” ( land of wells ). Some traces still give evidence of an economic activity that
had been going for centuries.

Settled in the walls of a Mill formerly called “ La Moitresse” meaning “ wheat mill “,
the guest rooms are keeping up the attractiveness in heritage of the historical past.
Five rooms with enchanting names such as “Starry Night”, “Amber coloured dream”,
“ Serenity”, “ flower bunch”, “The Mill Bedroom” enhance the magic of the place.
As a morning bonus for enjoying a relaxing day in good mood, authentic home-made
products such as honey, bread, marmalades, cakes and pies, wild pork smoked ham and
sausage will be dished up for breakfast.
We give notice that leisure facilities with Jacuzzi will be operational in September 2005.
